  1. I learned
    - marketing in a right time is very important, since people live in different Time Zone.
    - Also, different marketing strategies has each of their own popuar time.
I think these lessons are valualble to me because these taught me how to market, when to market with what Social Media most effectivley.
For Example, I will retweet most at 5PM, by Eastern Time. And according to the lesson I learned I will share most on Saturday in Facebook.

  2. From this week's Case Study assignment, I have learned that there are various kinds of Facebook ads which can be used to target segmentalized consumers. Also, the most popular time and day to use different kinds of social media was very interesting. This lessons are valuable for me because I can use this information to gain more attention from potential social media users. In my own online marketing branding while using Facebook, I would try to share one post every two days, usually on Saturday around noon, so many Facebook users could see my post and gain a lot of 'likes'.

  3. Hello! This week's assignment was interesting. When I solved the case study questions, I found some of them interesting. When I read the Zappos website and its FB page, I noticed how it organized information and how it participate with customers. Also, the western time zone information was both confusing but impressing. I didn't notice that until I read an article about it. These information are very helpful and valuable to me because I can apply these information to myself when I post something, or use sources of social media. Therefore, I need to think about the time difference when I try to upload something online!

  4. Time Zone, days and time when we post are very important depending the audience we want to attract.
With Zappos case study and checking all their platforms and seeing how they dedicate time to make them look nice and make the follower feel special. I have learned a lot and it has inspired me to make my Blog a very good place to visit and make my other platforms very attractive with pictures and articles. It motivated me that much that I dedicated some extra time to make my blog look nicer.

  5. Hi!
This week I have learned two big lessons when completing the case study:
    - 80% of the American population is living in the Eastern or Central Time zone, which is very important to know when posting,
    - All the different options to design your ad on Facebook, such as target people based on their favorite team (the example with the Baseball team), or the people who have recently moved.
Those lessons will be valuable to me because if I want to build a company I will have to know when to post depending on my customer location.
Furthermore, Facebook ads are currently inescapable to do promotion on social media so it's important to know all the options offered and combine them with the best hour and day to post.

  6. Hey There !

This week, I've learned a lot of things. Some of them took my attention as the fact that targeting customers on facebook is a great tool for us the " new marketers". This new form of ads, is very precious because it permits a lot of advertisers to find the best customer at the right moment, and then propose him my product on the perfect timing, upon his own needs for sure.
Also, I really enjoyed the science of social timing on social networks. I didn't know that according that much precision on a posting time could have that much impact !

    Thanks

  7. Hello all,
My first big lessons was the manage of your followers behavior. I know it sounds boring but i was truly surprised by the authority it gave to zappos and the way they were making their customers so engaged.
Also the time managing impressed me a lot. I knew that posting that or that at this time could help you gain visibilty but the geographic attention toward your timing is a factor i totally ignored. But not anymore thanks to the case study.
    Thanks

  8. I don't take it as a Lesson but as a take-away, the fact that 3/4 of the population in the USA is concentrated in the central-eastern zone was bluffing.
Then getting the confirmation that visual posts have a better impact on our reach thank to Zappos case study.

Those lessons are valuable because they will both change my time posting strategy and but also change my manner to share content, I will now try to add a picture on my post to make more attractive.

  9. Hey,
The articles were very intersting and i learned a lot of figures we should know as marketers.
-For exemple I ignored that some studies had been done highlighting the percentage of retweet by hour. The same for the day. All thoses informations are very interesting to be as efficient as possible.
    - The 2nd most important to me is the power of Facebook. When I signed in 8 years ago Facebook wasn't as huge as today. Now it is almost 1 person over 7 on the planet that use this huge social network. It is amazing.
    - The significance of the data base of Facebook is a gold mine for the marketers. Every brands can have a feedback from the ads they publish on Facebook by analzing which user like their brands.

Those 3 points are very valuable because it teaches us how Facebook works and how marketers can make profit from social media.

I will try to publish when audience is the biggest so more people will se the posts.

  11. Hi everyone,
My first big lessons was that likes doesn't mean anything unless you have engaged fans.
Also the time and day of posting content impressed me a lot. I could tell that you couldn't just post stuff at anytime but I wasn't expecting that to be so complex.
    Thanks

  12. Hello,

To be honest this case study hasn't been much relevant for me. I knew most of the things in the article. I've learned that 80% of the American population is living in the Eastern or Central Time zone. The interesting thing is about Zappos. This company reach millions of likes and followers on Twitter and Facebook. But they only have few comments and retweets (from 10 likes to 800 and around 20/30 RT). I'm still asking myself how can they get to that point with millions of likes and followers.

  13. During this case study I've learned two biggest lessons:

    - First of all, It's the "social media timing". The question of the frequency of your publications on the social networks but also on the schedules and days to favor to amplify your communication represents essential reflections to return the latter more effective.
    - Second of all, I was impressed about the time-zone with the important population which is a focus in the central and the eastern side of United States.

These points are really valuable for me. In order to input my market in one of the biggest countries in the world such as the United States, I know what to expect.

The timing will be very important for my Social Marketer life!

  14. After learning the case study, I gained more knowledge about difference kinds of social media.
The first lesson I learn is company in different area should do focus on different time zone. The eastern time zone has the most percentage of the population which is 48%. The central time zone has 33% of the population. If you want to do business in the West coast, you should probably focus on pacific time zone. If you want to do business across the country, the eastern time zone is an important factor. The second lesson I learn is to choose the right time to send tweets. The best time to send tweets is at 5 pm. The way to measure it is CTR. The best days to maximize CTR are midweek and weekend.
After learning these lesson, I know what is the most efficient way to sent twitter and facebook. I also know how to reach the most audience. I will send out twitter at weekends because that is the best time to reach the most people.

  15. The most interesting thing I learn, is that 80% of the U.S population is concetrated in the eastern and central time zone. It made me realize there is a lot of empty space in the U.S.

Talking of social media. The timing to post is really interesting, and I will definitely use it. I realized that I follow this time when I'm using social media.

The CTR is a pretty interesting notion as well. When I searched about it, I discovered that the CTR is only between 0.5% to 2%. This is not a lot.

  16. Hello,
After this case study I think the biggest lesson I've learned is the way of posting depending of the time zone to reach the more followers you can, it's insane to know that the big majority of the U.S. population is based on the East Coast!
What was very interesting also was the way of using Facebook to make your best reputation out of it, this platform is really necessary nowadays to enhance your way of marketing. Using targeted ads for different types of customers is a very valuable tool, as it allows you to get a lot of new followers by reaching the right segment.
Finally I was happy to see all the data about the right time to post in what day of the week for which social network. This is very useful to increase your chances of getting retweeted. It can at least provoque more interactions from your followers because you managed to post at the right moment and using this tool you will get more popular rapidly!

  17. It hard to determine which are the biggest take-away. Almost all of them including effective marketing tools such as Pages, Ads and Groups, effective strategies on Facebook including Tabs, "Talk about This", and Targeted Advertising and Statistic and measurement of Social Media Timing-Social Networks Data are the great tools and resources.

Meanwhile, if I have to choose two, then Ads and Groups are two of the biggest take-always I learned from completing the Case Study assignments.

For Ads - Not only that the case study helps me to understand various ways of Ad Placements, I also learned about how to be more cautious with my ad's content in the Social Media Marketing ensuring compliance with each of social media platform's requirements and regulations. In addition, Ads helps me run competitive analysis to keep my eyes on the other competitors' ad placement. One of the good example, I also learned recently that one of the largest ad placement competitors who does the ad placements for big company including Ben's & Jerry, and Dove wants to pull out ads from Google and Facebook. This company do not want their Ads placement in the groups or walls, in which these contents contain "fake news, sexism, racism and extremism". (See http://money.cnn.com/video/media/2018/02/12/unilever-digital-advertising.cnnmoney/index.html). As being said, I also wanted to make sure that my Ads are placed in the target audiences appropriately to provide user positive experience in the neutral environment.

For Group, I am able to be "Talking about this" by posting and update the useful and new information about each product on Facebook group frequently, including new seasonal fundraising products being launched, new fundraising strategies, and steps and tips. Each specific product will be updated in each Product's Tab in the Facebook. This case study helps me to understand to insure this is to make my social media marketing user friendly and increase followers from specific targeted group of people including community leaders and supporters from Parents and Teacher Organization (PTO), non-profit organizations, school, team sports, and clubs etc., including customers who are involved and coordinating the fundraising aspects for their local counterparts. They all can benefit learning and using about my products and services

  18. Hello.
There are main two lessons from case study assignment.
First, 5PM Eastern Time is the best time to tweet because almost 80% of the population in the United States is concentrated on the East Coast.
Second, "Like" is significant on Facebook. Moreover, I also have to place importance on "Talking About This".
These lessons will be helpful for managing my social media and getting high engagement.

  19. Hello everyone!

The biggest lessons I learnt after this case study was that almost 80% of the population is concentrated on the East Cost, so we need to think a what time we post something, also the three different ways that a company can market on Facebook: Page, Ads and Groups.
On the other hand I had never heard the term of CTR and it was very interesting learnt about it!

  20. Hi! The biggest lessons I learned from this is that most of the U.S. is in the East Coast, so if if that's where your audience is, you have to remember to take that into account. The timing of your post is very important, as if affects how many people see your post. A simple two hour difference could change how many people see a post drastically. Also, I got to see how effective interacting with your audience is through Zappos.com. They use Facebook ads and their comment section to build a good line of communication with their audience.

  21. First of all it was interesting to hear about CTR because it didn't anything about it. And the other big lesson was to know that almost all the american population is living East Coast so. it is realy important to take care of the time zone and the moments when you share a post on the social medias
