Wk6 Other Favorite Platforms

Greetings Social Media Marketers

I hope that everyone is doing great.  Since there's so many internet tools that we can't cover them all, I'd like to hear from you.  What are some internet platforms that you use that you think are enjoyable and perhaps helpful in marketing.  -I look forward to the international students sharing with us, what are the platforms that are popular outside of the US.

    to my mind Facebook, twitter, instagram and snapchat are the main social medias. About France, I would choose Facebook, twitter and Instagram as the best social medias to communicate !

    I think there's no big difference between France and USA when it comes to Social Media. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat (at least before the last update) and LinkedIn are the most popular. We have an equivalent of LinkedIn, Viadéo, and an equivalent of YouTube, Dailymotion, but they are dying, and I would say, nobody use them.

    I use Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Reddit a lot. I think there is no big difference in the US and France in terms of using social networks. But I think the practices for marketing that remain Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Because reddit is much less used to do marketing because it is much more complicated to have visibility.

    Currently, I am enjoying the following social media platform in USA, they are Facebook, LinkedIn, youtube and Twitter. The most effective marketing approach based on my current business needs will be the Facebook along with Twitter. I am considering adding Instagram and Pinterest to my company platform portfolios where i am able to showcase products. I do get some responses from some international followers from France, Germany and Norway to my Facebook .

    For me the platforms that we use in France are the same than the main ones here. Facebook is essential to stay connected and gathered with people from everywhere. You keep in touch with friends, family, and contacts on this network very easily. It’s useful in marketing because it allows you to reach a big audience you acquired during the years only with your personal profile for example. Also, Twitter and Instagram should not be left behind. They have a big control on consumers’ mind. The strength of Twitter is its short and efficient way to deliver a message to its followers. About Instagram, the power of pictures is a big tool that influences subconsciously the customers, and it's becoming more important everyday.

    I'm from Spain and the platforms that I use the most are Facebook, Instagram and a new one called Vitcord, I really enjoy using this platforms!

    Hi everyone!

    In Spain, we pretty much use the same social media platforms that are most popularly visited in the United States.

    Snapchat was quite popular a few years ago, as was Twitter; but both have yielded to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn -- where all of the age groups are represented, although Instagram tends to lean towards a younger demographic.

I hope that everyone is doing great.   As we approach the end of the class I wanted to congratulate you on all of your work!  It's been a pleasure to engage with you on social media.  I hope that you enjoyed this unique class too. I'm looking forward to seeing your Slidshare presentations.  I will be grading all of your work starting today, so this is your final reminder to make sure everything is complete.
