Greetings Social Media Marketers I hope that everyone is having fun planing, practicing, and filming your VLOGs.   As you are probably experiencing, effective Blogging and especially Vlogging requires you to be strategic.  Some tips that can help you with Vlogs: Select your market niche (and always keep them in mind).  You want to keep in mind at all times, who is your audience, what is important to them, what do they want to watch.  It's easy to think about what do I want, how do I want to look, how do I want to sound.  Instead, think about what does the audience want, what visuals interest them, what do they want to hear about. Watch for trends : This can be challenging because you want to leverage a trend, but the most successful jump on a trend before it becomes too saturated.  So this requires you to keep your finger on the pulse of what's happening in your niche and then incorporate it in your vlogs. Greetings Social Media Marketers I hope that everyone is having fun engaging in Social Media.  I also hope that at this point you are comfortable with the main platforms and can begin to see how important it is to leverage these tools together.  But the question becomes, is this starting to feel like a lot of work?  Are you starting to lose track of where you posted what?  Is this more time consuming than you expected?  If so, you are not alone.  The good news is that there are some tools that we can use to manage our accounts.  While there's new tools being developed all of the time, I'm going to focus on two. Greetings Class I hope that everyone is doing great!  This week we focus on content creation.  So far, we have been using Facebook, Blogs, Twitter, and we soon will add YouTube.  So the question becomes, how do you know what content to share and through what media channel?  Is it possible to engage fully in all of these media formats at once?  If you had to select only two media channels, which two would you choose to be your primary social media channels and why? Share any strategies that you use for managing your social media.
